Amazon is a great company that has lots of potentials for continue career growth, but it's also very political and sometimes gets in the way of getting work done. It keeps losing talented and amazing people which is sad to see and impacts overall team moral.

Smart people, cool technology and projects, continuous learning daily but not encouraged by managers

it's whole day and the bar raisers was clueless about my area of specialty
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Listening/trust their employee and not micro manage. Respect individual differences and embrace each person's quality
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
More focus on equality and change the OLR rating to get rid of the curve
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Employee who have worked there for over 10 years are making less than new hires, salary rarely gets adjusted. Often times the manager makes less than new hired which is appalling.
