We're all in the same boat. We joke, we laugh, but I know that I'm not the only one "stuck" in this situation.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I could use a raise. Also, we don't get health insurance. For the amount of work, I feel like I could do better.
What did you like most about the interview process?
They basically hired us on the spot, with no interview. All we had to do was pass a drug test and we were hired.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We feel like a team. We're all working toward the same goal. HR is pretty good at solving our problems, but the floor managers are overbearing. Maybe offer some incentives once in a while.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Lighten up on us! Just because our scan rates are low doesn't mean that we're slacking off. We do other things, like wrapping. It does wonders for morale if you compliment us sometimes, insead of berating us. You can catch more flies with honey rather than vinegar.
