This company is difficult to work for. There's a lot of misinformation that they provide employees on orientation, work hours are long and physical with very little breaks, the jobs themselves are monotonous.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

They expect us to work very physically demanding and excessively boring jobs with little and short breaks. Either improve working conditions or simply pay employees more or at least work on providing more opportunity for time off so it's worth it.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

The company doesn't have meetings amongst employees. There are technically "Teams" under each manager but you don't know who they are. The company caters to younger employees via "gaming stations" for competition because they know they're physically less likely to complain.

What makes you most happy at work?

Being able to step away from my station every now and getting to relax outside or in the break room which is well stocked. I'm usually left alone and can be independent at my position as long as my rate doesn't suffer.

What did you like most about the interview process?

There really are no interviews. I think interviews can only determine if someone is a good fit to a certain extent. Interviews don't always give accurate insight to a person's work ethic or abilities. I like that amazon doesn't do conventional interviews.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The managers are very nice although they're very much part of the Amazon "mindset" where they don't seem to really acknowledge that the jobs are strenuous. They will try to get you out of the starting positions like picking to help the boredom though.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Most positive are the managers for sure. But other than that there is absolutely zero human interaction aside from very short breaks and even those you have to remain isolated by your stations to not be late for. Coworkers can be nice as well when you get to talk to them.
