Compensation should be as per the market rate and experience. Company equities should be given free of cost and not for the discounted price as it's uncertain on how the investment we have made now would grow or fall in next years as the company is not listed. Bonus amount should be given.

My commission is a fifth of a penny to the dollar of reoccurring revenue I assist in keeping per month. Our multiyear compensation and accelerator chances have been removed as well.

The most positive aspect of the culture is the collaboration and support among colleagues. People are willing to share knowledge, help each other, and work together to solve challenging problems. There is also a strong level of technical expertise across the teams.

I think if Barracuda was not fully remote it would have very little going for it at this point. Our customers and the industry do not think highly of our products anymore. This is most likely related to putting operations on the chopping block which effects the quality of our products.

As previously mentioned, retain the good folks they are what make other good folks want to come to work. The folks that take advantage, do the minimum, and no one wants to work with are the most costly to the company.

What would you most like to see improved at your company?
Salaries need to be improved drastically, hybrid working needs to be adopted as part of the new way of working. Barracuda are not competitive in these areas and are losing good people because of these reasons.
