The leadership team largely changed in 2023 and it feels like there is a different culture at Bell now. Listening to those with less empowered voices should be worked on.

It is not a secret that other companies in aerospace/aviation pay better. Transparency on the justification of salaries could be better though.

I'm in a supervisor position and barely paid more than someone two levels lower than me. Some staff in a position lower than me make more than I do. It's discouraging to do more challenging work and be productive when you're undervalued.

I have an Engineering degree but my department is under Finance. My management does not have the technical skills to manage the work we do. There is no career path for technical skills like Engineering in the Finance department.

The willingness to help each other is my favorite attribute of my co-workers. If I don't know something, they are willing to teach me. If I don't have the time / resources needed to complete a task, they are willing to step in. If they've been through it before, they share their experiences.

Some teams just mesh better than others. I am on a smaller team but that also means we won't have as many events outside of work to help the team bond as well as bigger programs.

Don't cram 600 people into a building designed for 300 people during a global pandemic, especially if that building is a much further drive for most employees. Enable employees to work from home if they are able to.
