Where to even start. Twenty-two years with this company, and I have never felt more unheard of and unimportant. Last week the company announced going back into the office, after promising this would never happen. After 500+ employees voiced concerns, we were basically told "too bad."

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Farmers' continuous decrease of commissions and removal of product make this insurer (who had the capacity to purchase non-admitted carriers replacing the cancellations and would have at a minimum contributed to surplus 300-400% as supported in the current market) a leader in inferiority.

Cut out the mid kevel jobs and pay Agents more on premiums and better goals and incentives that don't recolve around life policies.

Me . . . I as an agent work productively, take care of my clients and assist them in all ways possible. Yes, that is what I should be doing, but with no front office assistance and leadership that continues to get paid outrageous sums . .

The only complaint I have about working at Farmers doesn't directly have anything to do with how the company works. There are days where I get very stressed, but it's because of the work we do. Sometimes it's overwhelming and customers can become very agitated when we're evaluating claims.
