Overall my experience has been positive, but I do have strong concerns about the future of my department. Our lack of a (experienced) CIO, and a PMO, are going to have negative ripple effects on the rest of the company if they continue to be absent.
What makes you most happy at work?
When I'm allowed to innovate, experiment, and pursue new ideas that excite me and have the potential to delight HubSpotters, rather than be blocked by red tape.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Katie's leadership is inspiring and thoughtful; she's the reason I stay invested with HubSpot, even though I report to a different C-level executive and a truly distressing VP.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
My RSUs have been really appreciated as our stock has done well, but I do hope to see a salary pay raise in Q1'22 that accounts for recent inflation.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We're a smart, creative, tight knit group that works together incredibly well and relies on each other often. We support all of HubSpot and have a reputation internally for being able to deliver great experiences.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The Culture team works hard to put out a lot of great programming that I'm sure most of the company appreciates - however, the culture of involvement, activities, recognition, rewards, extra curricular events, etc, doesn't permeate past our executive & VP, so our team feels excluded & short changed.
