I'm incredibly excited to work at HubSpot. I believe in our mission and how we execute this. There are some problems, lack of vision for my department and lack of career growth in my department, but my direct manager would walk through fire for me. Overall, it's been super positive.
What makes you most happy at work?
The actual work I get to do. I believe strongly in our mission in my team.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The walk the walk on being transparent and also on social issues. They also execute on a clear mission.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We are a diverse group with varied experiences and strong opinions, but we all come together for a common goal and execute it well.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We as employees are deeply cared about and encouraged to look after our physical and mental health and to take time off to avoid burn out.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
No bonuses tied to performance and everyone was recently shown where in the pay range they are and despite experience and years in a role, most people I've heard from are in the bottom section of this range. Also Paternity leave lags behind other similar companies.
