Overall, the culture makes working at Hubspot great. My team is full of wonderful people and it's easy to work with everyone. On a negative note, the startup mentality is still rewarded and it's harder to create standarization of processes or strategic operations because they tend to lake longer.

People can be themselves and there is a safe space to share thoughts and ideas.

People are very helpful and knowledgeable. It's easy to interact with them and over all good team spirit.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I feel undervalued as a designer on the marketing team knowing that designers on the product team have larger salaries. Both design disciplines require a lot of knowledge and one isn't more important than the other.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
More budget for the marketing design team. Other teams, like the development team, get clearer career steps, hierarchy, and compensation during ACR. We've only grown in the past year and only now does it seem like the team is getting in order.
