We have a culture that TRIES to be better. There are a lot of companies out there who aren't honestly trying.

My colleagues are incredibly smart, capable, empathetic, supportive, and engaged. I've never worked with a more astounding and effective group of people.

The benefits at HubSpot are the best I've had in my career. The number of health-related benefits even on top of great health insurance is fantastic.

We have great perks and people are generally just really friendly (e.g. folks greet each other all the time, open doors for each other, thank each other, etc.).
What do you like best about the leadership team?
The leadership team is very focused on solving for culture, which is a significant challenge as we grow bigger. Their commitment to growing better really shines through in our culture.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I've used Glassdoor to compare against other salaries for my position in the Boston-area, and my base salary is quite a bit lower than the median salary. And many of the open positions currently offer similar stock options and benefits.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Cultivating leadership skills at their level and all the way down to the newest managers. If our leadership wants to hit their D&I goals, they're going to have to get a lot better at supporting the growth and safety of their teams.
