We take the time to figure out our team values together, and work in accordance with them. We focus on the end user, and work in a collaborative and iterative way.
It's not really about comp. I think it comes down to feeling that there's a lack of measurement & tracking of the quality of my work. It's highly subjective and feels like perceptions change from manager to manager.
