It's generous for my field. I appreciate that folks earn promotions and compensation bumps when it's appropriate for the individual, not based on a yearly budget/regulated schedule.
They are knowledgeable and have a growth mindset. They are open to learning and trying new things, and sharing and supporting others. Plus, they're all rather nice people.
As a manager, I can focus on supporting folks on my team to be the best they can be. I am supported by the company in these efforts, not side tracked by administrative burdens or over-tasked with so many things that I can't be good at my primary responsibilities.
There is a level of transparency around how/why/when decisions are made, the kind execs in other orgs I've worked at talk about but don't practice. They do a good job of sharing strategic planning/goals & allow teams to figure out execution (w/guidance but not a heavy hand) and listen to employees.
