Team is friendly, helps me learn and grow, and keeps focused on the goals of our customers. We also regularly do outings.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They have a long-term mindset which gives me confidence in the company, and they also have a strong emphasis on making work an inclusive and belonging environment.
What makes you most happy at work?
I really like talking to people, so anytime I'm sitting in a busy area (like the coffee garden or atrium) and people I know say hi (or an excited dog walks in)
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We have lots of perks in the office like the coffee garden, people can bring dogs to work, and playing with the dogs is an awesome way to take a break. Most employees are also supportive of people who are different than them.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Within engineering, I previously worked on a Product team and am now on a Platform team. I find working on a platform team to be much harder and more demanding, yet I am not paid any more than I was in the same role on a product team.
