Excellent company to work for, HubSpot offer fantastic support both in and out of the working day. Exceptionally talented co-workers is a key reason why people are drawn to HubSpot.

As of past couple of months, after the fading of restrictions, I begun to question HubSpot dedication to creating a collaborative & enjoyable office environment here in Berlin. I feel more and more of a disconnect between what leadership are saying and what I am experiencing on my team.

Massive lack of benefits for German employees.

Good base salary, no additional RSUs since joining the company 2.5 years ago isn't great.

Transparency amongst employees. And the core direction of the company so that we aren't getting new directives every 6 months.

Much of HubSpot's culture has slipped in the past number of years, but the people that I work closely with have always been amazing
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Internal politics with my team at HubSpot has reached a new height. I feel that I am unable to progress in my career with being clique
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
I would be nice to see shared benefits across all offices. For the. Berlin office, it feel like they actively discourage folks from coming to the office, in contrast to Dublin for example
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Refocus on growing individuals, HubSpot exec preaches this but I've never seen what this look like at a team or IC level. Providing support HubSpotters to connect in person. I am baffled as to why they discourage use of a different office when utilising the mobility policy.
