
HubSpot hires individuals who fit the culture of HubSpot- which means I am often working with individuals who have similar values as me and we all often care deeply about each other.
We interact with each other without judgement. There are no stupid questions and we approach everything from the point of supporting each other and learning from each other. We genuinely care for each other as well.
While the leadership team has to maintain a certain amount of professionalism, they do not fall into the "robotic" trap that the leadership teams at other companies sometimes fall into. They still show that they too are real humans, and often genuinely care for others at the company.
When I noticed that I was drastically underpaid compared to my team, I had to fight to be paid equally. I also highlighted that we were all underpaid compared to the industry standard and had to fight for all of us to get raises. It has also been an actual fight to get recognition and promotions.
