Higher pay and a clear pathway to advancement. The understanding that as I am an "older" employee who has returned to college to obtain her degree...but LIFE EXPERIENCE should ALSO be considered. Not just having a piece of paper.

we make an average of 50%less than district teachers but they call us educators and teachers. we are overwored and underpaid. many people feel this way however very you have the skills our trust that managemnet would be a good reference if we sought employment elsewhere.

The director and assistant director have a lot of favoritism towards certain employees. The assistant directors little sister gets to do whatever she wants and takes 2 hour lunch breaks.

I was promised a raise as lead teacher when I agreed to go to my current location but then Covid hit abd I did not receive it. I made the choice to return to college to increase my earning power. There is little guidance as promised career path wise.

Being able to be in charge of a classroom, but it is also very stressful. The unspoken expectations of working off the clock to prevent OT and never having the supplies needed for curricuulum resulting in out of pocket expenses.

Managment dont interact on a daily basis youre stuck in a room until you call to use the restroom and have to wait 15 minutes just to do that.
