Our leadership team needs better communication. I feel our General Manager is not transparent when it comes to decisions that will affect the workers. I understand that not everything should be discussed with frontline employees, but at least be honest when an employee has concerns about the work.

What is the best part about your compensation package?

I use to receive a bonus but due to Covid 19, it was canceled. Regardless of working in healthcare and remaining an Essential GM. I'm not happy about it.

The best part of the compensation package is that they have competitive wages, and dental, eye glass and medical insurance as well as medical insurance as well as short and long term disability.

Pay a competitive salary comparable to that in the industry for the same position and level of responsibility.

I feel I'm better paid than most operations managers within Sodexo, but well below the national average in the US. Also, not having performance bonuses, or any bonuses, leads me to look outside of Sodexo for opportunities to grow.

Retraining all employees from head down giving everyone the chance to start over and to learn the proper skills and techniques required to work well and to enjoy the job and their work environment.

The management needs to regularly vist the overnight crew and make sure the supervisors are doing there jobs and the supervisors need to learn how to talk to the workers and in such a aggressive way the supervisors are harassing certain people and helping others they do not help as a team
