It has been very difficult and disappointing to watch the slow decline in employee appreciation.
Review from Operations Dept
Enjoyable, not micor managed and up to date on new policies and procedures

Every voice every time means so much!

My manager is amazing. She pushes you to be the best that you can be. She challenges you to go to beyond your comfort zone as evidence by team members who join several committees that other else would not.
Review from Operations Dept
Strong decisive leadership with a willingness to listen.
Review from Operations Dept
Progressive and attuned to the needs of their staff
Review from Operations Dept
They are respectful to employees!
Review from Operations Dept
Promote diversity. There are too many Indian directors and they keep supporting their own kind.
Review from Operations Dept
The leadership team should shift their focus of physical growth, which has been the main focus for 6 years, to internal issues with culture.
Review from Operations Dept
I have seen written instructions to teamleaders to squash empolyees' complaints. Stop sweeping problems under the carpet as this only makes them worse over time. Stop allowing your leaders absolute power over underlings as leaders abuse it.
Review from Operations Dept
Value the worker bees, punish less, write employees up less often.
Review from Operations Dept
Acknowledging the importance of EVERY individual who works to make this organization a success. There are so many other workers whose function is as equally important as the doctors and the nurses. Unless you have MD or RN behind your name, you are considered not relevant.

Retirement seems ok, but could be better.
Review from Operations Dept
Hourly pay rate is equitable.
Review from Operations Dept
Preventative medications are no charge - diabetic medications no charge

The 401 Plan is great.
Review from Operations Dept
our insurance is very responable priced
Review from Operations Dept
Least pay compared to competitors
Review from Operations Dept
Different people in my department get paid differently for doing exactly the same work. Some have helpers and only have to sign off on the work. Others do not get any help and have to do everything on their own. There is a great disparity in employee expectations for the same job description.
Review from Operations Dept
The Health Insurance has high deductible. Nurse practitioners and doctors in my department work 7 days on and 7 days off. Nurse practitioners get PTO - doctors don't.
Review from Operations Dept
Having a discussion regarding compensation with an HR representative, which I have been requesting for several years.
Review from Operations Dept
There is disparity at work. The boss's favorites get to work less and get paid the same.
Review from Operations Dept
Always started on time, everyone had a voice.
Review from Operations Dept
We know how to have fun
Review from Operations Dept
Great team at my level. Terrible leaders corrupted by government hand outs to beef up their 7 figure salaries
Review from Operations Dept
The physicians and staff are well-qualified healthcare professionals.
Review from Operations Dept
We work in a collaborative environment.
Review from Operations Dept
Be more respectful, do not listen to loud music - wear your headphones for god's sake! Don't be late to meetings and make everyone else wait for you. If you have a problem with me let me know - don't go to the boss for every little thing. Grow up! Don't eat your stinky food in the common office.
Review from Operations Dept
The director makes us praise her every time she does her job right. She is a narcissist and this makes teammembers uncomfortable. Coworkers in the department are all looking over their shoulder as they don't know who director will pick on next.
Review from Operations Dept
Our manager tolerates her favorites' laziness and lets them come late, leave early, do their school homework while on the clock, finish their notes from their part-time job, etc. The rest of us do not have such luxury.
Review from Operations Dept
I work well with my coworkers. The problem is not my coworkers, it is the disregard of the "powers that be" at Wellstar.
Review from Operations Dept
I think the team works together fairly well. They pitch in to help each other as needed.
Review from Operations Dept
Loved working with my team of nurses.
Review from Operations Dept
Mutual respect is the key
Review from Operations Dept
Other departments, some good nurses.
Review from Operations Dept
Unfortunately, in the last 5 years, there are not a lot of positive attributes to culture at this organization. As opposed to 10 years ago when I would've rated the culture as a 10.
Review from Operations Dept
The desire to improve and focus on quality.
Review from Operations Dept
Over crowded, over worked under paid. Executives care more about hand outs than the people that make the company.
Review from Operations Dept
The managers and supervisors need to stop their reign of terror. They frequently fabricate situations and love to stir the pot. Wellstar like to write people up just so they can control everyone. Your employees are loyal, why don't you value them. Promote from within rather than hire from outside.
Review from Operations Dept
Leadership and the current toxic culture and complaints.
Review from Operations Dept
Felt comfortable during the interview.
Review from Operations Dept
Lunch, it was quiet, people were polite.
Review from Operations Dept
Used behavioral based and open ended questions.
Review from Operations Dept
The interviewers were nice and I knew one of them through a friend
Review from Operations Dept
My interviewers were very friendly.
Review from Operations Dept
The medical director seemed very phlegmatic and disinterested in her job. I had the impression she did not want to be there. She seemed very lazy. I was supposed to interview with several employees at the same time, however they all arrived at different times which seemed very disorganized.
Review from Operations Dept
The members of the team came to the interview late and were frequently looking at their phones. It was evident that they were not relaxed but were stretched too thin.
Review from Operations Dept
Don't tell the transferring employee that you "could do more for them [in the form of compensation] if they were coming in from outside of WellStar."
Review from Operations Dept
The director seemed very disinterested in her job and I did not understand why she works it.
Review from Operations Dept
Being paid fairly for the hard work I do
Review from Operations Dept
The family atmosphere that is demonstrated each and every day
Review from Operations Dept
Making a difference and supporting my team.
Review from Operations Dept
Focus on money rather than employees and patients. To improve do the right thing rather than the greedy thing.
Review from Operations Dept
The moral is low due to manager's favoritism. There is jealousy amongst doctors because some get paid a flat salary and others productivity. This leads to some doctors doing more to patients than they should to get more money, and other doctors finding ways to refuse work and not see patients.
Review from Operations Dept
The focus has been on physical growth rather than on the internal sinking ship. One of the largest reasons employees remain at this organization is due to geographic convenience. People feel they are "land locked" into working at this culturally neglectful organization.
Review from Operations Dept
Wellstar are too greedy. They want to buy up every hospital in the state but do not make sure the ones they have are run right. First do what you are doing now well and then expand. Develop your employees instead of punish them.
Review from Operations Dept
To be appreciated for the work that we do.
