What do you like best about the leadership team?
My retail supervisor and retail operations manager have been wonderful to work for but the upper level management has extremely disappointed me. I might ask where is HR on this matter?

I have had managers in the past that were wonderful but the manager I have now is unknowledgable, rude and unethical.

Leading by example and their skill level needs to be higher than the employees they manage and currently that is not the case at CROSSMARK.

We are required to use our phone for co. Use, such as logging in and out, keeping track of our hours and sending them to the co. On a weekly basics, checking our schedule, etc . We are not given any allowance for this. Been there 7 years with only 1_ 50 cent raise..

What is the best part about your compensation package?
The eye and dental insurance . I would like this to be transferred to the field teams also and not just people in office.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Our team is doing the work for Leadership and the jobs we were hired to do. No additional compensation for training the Leadership team or the additional work put in. CROSSMARK plays favoritism and promotes based on likability vs skill set.

I want the co. to be fair and not so Cheap to all of us. We deserve raises & compensation for our phones.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
allowing employees the flexibility of managing their schedules as long as all goals are accomplished.

The most positive is thing about my company is how we all come together as a team with limited resources. We all feel resources in technology or processes are limited and we pull together to get the job done.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?
The recruiting department leadership needs to be replaced. The companies 10% cap on internal transfers. They will promote you to a leadership role but only offer a 10% pay increase,then like most cable and electric companies they offer a higher rate of pay to an outside hire vs someone internally.

What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Skill tests need to be performed or at least start verifying the information applicants have put on their resumes and the degrees they claim to have. Especially when hiring someone in a leadership role.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Stop playing favoritism and promote based on skill set and when promoted offer the internal employee the same pay range as external hires. Start valuing the hourly employees that are putting in the hard work and show passion
