Centurylink does not promote people of color to management level positions.

Recognizing and paying their employees, instead of developing a culture of feeling not respected, and placing employees against each other with no pay raises, no bonuses, cuts in vacation time, cuts in retirement options, reductions in staff to hire in cheaper workers.

Learn to manage. Take classes/courses. Most have absolutely no idea what they are doing. Negative attitude towards anyone not within their little "clique".

1st level management in my group is Great. Above that level only cares about the sustainability of their personal gain. No care of customer experience, nor quality of work environment.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Actually recognizing people for their skills and what they bring to the table and paying them accordingly, instead of a constant line of excuses as to why you cannot give someone a raise, or that only one person in each department can be allowed an exceptional performance rating

Like a lot of companies we are paid a lower rate, with a lower title, but forced to do the work of several people in high brackets.

Ridiculous how much work employees are overloaded with without compensation. Cost of insurance, etc continues to rise, yet the company does not believe cost of living raises are necessary.

My coworkers need diversity training. A diversity training in person that can give examples.

Recognize employees value to the company and pay them accordingly, retaining knowledge is worth more than hiring someone at half the cost who has no skills to do the job.

Management needs to be replaced by people with proven track records instead of continuing to employ/promote based on who one is related to.

Management needs to pay attention to what the front line agents' interaction with the customers looks like. Software systems are horrific. Dependability of systems is terrible. Company needs to invest in staff, and resources used in customer interface.

The management in the company is disconnected from the people they represent.

Company seems solely focused on shareholders and executive pay, and that they do not care about the employees livelihood to the extent they announced no pay raises anymore, took away vacation accrual to skirt around paying that out if someone is laid off or leaves the company

There is no work stability. You will never feel safe and secure with this job. They are constantly having layoffs unexpectedly.

Again, management. This company will continue to decline in the eyes of both its employees and customers if it continues on the path it is on.

Customers are not receiving services promised. Or are having additional orders placed. Agents are NOT trained sufficiently to do the job well. Customer experience suffers. Long-time employees suffer, and feel trapped in a losing cause. When will the ship sink?
