KMart: Coworkers are great, but everything else is not good. Employees are essentially punished based on a rewards card that is sometimes more trouble than it's worth. Corporate keeps pushing unrealistic goals that often are only obtainable at the expense of the customers while saying it's best for them

Walmart: Walmart provided me an opportunity to work and make a decent wage. My hard work was noticed, appreciated and rewarded through promotions. Overall a positive experience that I am grateful for. Though losing vacation time due to miss managed scheduling and always being understaffed is a drawback.

Union Pacific Railroad: Heartbreaking. So many promises from Mr Fritz when he first came into office. We all thought maybe corruption would be ran out, ethics reinstalled, our smaller sized customer base would grow locally. The exact opposite has happened. The exact opposite. We have torn apart communities.
Dollar General: Overall my experience has not been great but hopefully will get better with time

Big Lots: Long days are hard. Some of the stores are extremely small and when you have been working long hours, you can feel enclosed and needing to breathe. The easy days are great. There is no in between

Circle K: I was vastly underpaid for the sheer amount of work I did with no compensation provided in any way. Words are nice, but I never received any kind of incentive. Remote teams never did. Only the HQ. So much for supporting community and remote workers equitably.

Employees in India are treated better, have more flexibility and have more holidays. If you are outside of India this company doesn't care.

TaskUs: Too many young people with no restaurant experience. Unreliable with extremely poor work habits.

What i don't like is too many changes on a fast pace without a real structure. They change their mind and the systems and tools frequently. It makes it difficult to keep up and be consistent
Meijer: I started out really loving my job, got promoted and loved it even more, then corporate came in and switched people around and now I dread going to work, it's become a strain on my mental health and my family relationships outside of work

Starbucks: I love working for Starbucks, but it is mandatory to have a second job if you want to be able to live on your own as well as eat meals.
Family Dollar Stores: Everything I've reported is so wrong in so many ways yet they don't do anything

BCD Travel: The travel industry is challenging and has changed so much in the 41 years I've been in it. It is not easy and not an industry I would recommend anyone to go into but my company is the best travel management company to work for and I am fortunate to be an employee and plan to finish my career here.
BCD Travel: Turnover is low due to high satisfaction and job fulfillment which speaks to several reasons but primarily engaged leadership from the top which trickles down among all levels of the organization.
