There is a sense of brotherhood, since the operation is sometimes comparable to going to war together. When you have 100,000 packages coming at your team, your counterparts help put out the fires.

I personally am an extrovert and get my energy from my environment, and if you've ever worked in the operation you know it's high energy! I love motivating my employees in some of the hardest work environments. Nothing makes me happier than the end of a crazy night at UPS

The system used for individual raises is ridiculous. full time supervisor rate their pt sups mid and end of year. the reviews are looked at as a chore for the FT sups and their feedback is cookie-cutter. The raises depend on that feedback, upper management does not show interest in rectifying.
