I have worked for UPS since January 1992 and have seen the company go from a goal-orientated company that always had the well-being of all employees to a greed-driven machine. The culture is so negative, that I am back in school to finish my degree in business so I can take my experience elsewhere.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The hourly salary and the insurance is by far the best part of my compensation package.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Stop micromanaging and build trusting relationships with the employees. Stop hiring supervisors and managers who can not perform driver tasks and expect them to properly train new hires. I could go on and on.
