Managing and working with employees. The front desk supervisor and assistant manager were visibly only in that position for the pay not for the actual job.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
They need to have real expectations for the housekeeping employees to have a "spotless" room, when you don't even change the comforters after every day. They want the rooms to look perfect in 30 minutes which is extremely difficult. Benefits like PTO are non existent.

Most of the guests loved how I handled the hotels reno situation as well as my customer service and knowledge about the city. As for the environment, they loved that i was a positive as possible regardless of the hotels status.
