IBM – Overall I like HashiCorp. The company is pretty fun and the work is also challenging. Middle leadership can leave a lot to be desired. C-level leadership is pretty great. They took away unlimited time off in favor of a limit. HashiCorp definitely underpays compared to other companies. | Comparably

What makes you most happy at work?

Working on interesting problems that make a positive impact for others. Chatting with my coworkers.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

The C-level leadership is pretty great. VPs and Directors are hit or miss. Managers are usually pretty great as well.

What are some of the best things about your team?

A lot of people at HashiCorp are actually really smart and kind. There are a few bad apples of course but generally people are fun to work with.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

I like the fact that culture can be spoken about in the open. I don't like the fact that most people would rather react with an emoji rather than voice their opinion.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I'm below the midpoint for my range by $13,000 even though I do a ton of work on my team. Also, the lack of 401k match or significant stock refreshers really hurt.
