It's honestly a dream come true. We care so much about the HashiCorp principles, but our commitment to the kindness principle is what matters the most to me. It's so easy to get imposter syndrome at such a high-tech company, but when you're with colleagues that help raise you up, kindness counts.

We truly weed out the people that are terrible to work with as opposed to moving them to other departments as some companies do.
What makes you most happy at work?
We're working on tackling the largest problems facing almost every company. Our solutions can be found backing so many parts of your day. It's truly humbling the impact our company has, and it's exciting to be a part of it.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
As opposed to many companies that had to adjust to remote work during the pandemic, HashiCorp already had a great remote-oriented culture in place. I might be working at home, but I always get to see my coworkers' faces, and I always feel like I'm part of my team.
