Slightly rocky start, but the overall company, leadership and people on the ground everywhere in HashiCorp rock. Our product suite seems to be super relevant which can make you feel proud (of what we're all working towards).

What are some of the best things about your team?

Kindness, empath, smart .. but also interesting people!

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

Openness at all levels, it doesn't feel like you're in competition with others, but working together.

What makes you most happy at work?

Solving challenging problems, making a product that enables our customers, and working with colleagues all around the organisation

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Authenticity, usually leadership teams are good at the fake smiles and fake empathy, but ours seem like like real, nice humans.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Red tape used to prevent correct role/salary/RSUs when hired (transfer). Zero pragmatism from people/comp teams, no accountability. Cost of living crisis, energy at crazy prices, and UK inflation >11% means I'm struggling (on tech salary). Last pay rise was also well below inflation (3%) Pension bad
