People, values and leadership. Culture promotes handling conflict head on and avoid any negative consequences later on.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Founder led company, one of them is still CTO and drives product vision. CEO took the company to a successful IPO and going strong.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
They could do much better with equity to employees. Pay has always been at par/below the industry standards. When you compete for the talent with industry top players, makes sense to pay them similarly.
