They are obviously intelligent people, however they need to follow through more and exemplify good communication practices — not just say they support it, but do it.
Prioritize your people through recognition/incentive programs, providing skill building opportunities, etc. & put in place guiding standards/processes to better enable success across the business. Your people = your organization.
Lack of leadership skills in people who are formally assigned team lead/manager roles. More training and translation of mission/vision/values into concrete and visible ways of working (processes, standards, etc.) would help improve this. Need leadership to exemplify best practices & set the example.
Listening to the team(s) driving work on a daily basis and gathering their input before determining planned work to develop a holistic strategy, consistent 2-way communication and transparency in regards to plans + key updates, & recognizing and celebrating the success of teams and individuals
