Lot of meetings. Frustration over the personnel rating system, and disappointment over pay raises.

What needs to change to make the company culture better?

Seems bureaucracy laden. Getting decisions made and getting things done are often too drawn out, with deadlines missed without explanation, or because of reorgs, or because someone left and wasn't replaced.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?

It becomes mind-numbing to discuss the same things week after week without seeing changes. There's too much bottom-line thinking that limits improving things. For example, we can't use many products that IBM offers because we can't afford them, & rely on spreadsheets where analytics would be better.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

Pay raises are based on several outmoded, false equivalency ideas. It begins with the ridiculous rating system, and continues with the geographic areas. Your pay is capped, so no matter how good your work is, you're not going to get a raise if you bump up against the cap.
