The main thing I have been disappointed about at IBM is the layoffs. The "resource action" in 2017 to require marketing employees to relocate was a very sad time. Many many of my colleagues that had been at IBM for 10+ years ended up leaving the company. Since then, we have continued to have layoffs

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Arvind, Carla Grant Pickens and Bob Lord's leadership is the best part of the culture and their positivity and energy.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
They are cordial and polite. Would be nice if we could get along beyond the confines of work to build lifelong relationships - but that would require more respect and sensitivity for others. Not everyone will do that.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Arvind is vocal about important issues instead of being silent or passive. I appreciate his leadership and the initiative he is taking and continues to take. He is a refreshing new leader for IBM, and I think he is doing a great job as CEO.
What makes you most happy at work?
I used to like the people on my team a lot. I really enjoyed the people I worked with. Now - I am in transition to move to a new team so what makes me happy now is the work I do and the impact it has.
