I've been at IBM since 2001, minus three years (2010-2013) I spent with PwC when I didn't think my design career could advance. Ginni Rometty and Phil Gilbert dramatically changed that and I have thrived upon my return and am now in an demanding but rewarding executive role.
What makes you most happy at work?
Getting to work with so many talented individuals.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I believe that I am compensated fairly amongst my peer group at other organizations.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I am in IBM iX, and loosely attached to our Cambridge studio. That entire group is incredibly talented and it feels like being part of a family.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
It's a large company so it's impossible to answer such a generalized question. I can only speak to my colleagues within iX, but we are a strong, talented and familial group of people.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are compassionate and empathetic. We are running a business so of course there is a demand for strong sales and delivery, but within that mandate they have supported me as a person and a professional who is passionate about his career.
