Positive, due to my outstanding team. I was hired for cloud native development, which was new to me, so I've worked hard to acquire the senior-level skills needed to become a top contributor and leader, which is stressful. But thanks to my team's mentoring I've learned a ton and had a big impact.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Compensation seems fair for my job responsibilities and my level of talent.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
People seem focused on getting work done. People collaborate well and I haven't seen any grandstanding, territoriality, or negative competition as I've seen at some other companies.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
Previous CEOs gutted the IBM I admired as a child and turned it into a consulting company. Current leadership seems more focused and interested in making IBM a technology product company again.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Regarding my team, not necessarily the whole company (I've only been here 16 months), it's one of the best teams I've worked with in my 20 year computing career. My team mates are extremely knowledgeable and generous with their knowledge. They share credit and take blame. Really like my team!
