As the old saying goes, IBMers "bleed blue" and that's the truest definition for my feelings for the company. I have never, nor would ever, want to work for another company and if I meet my long term goals I will be an IBMer until the end of my career.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The inclusion of all types of people and the respect shown between others both laterally and vertically.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to be a positive contributor both to our products and to the people I work with.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
For me, it's the fact as a very long term employee that I get 25 days of vacation (plus holidays).
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They care about employees as individuals and understand that sometimes "life" affects work, and are supportive during those times. (For example, family/personal illness or other issues.)
What are some of the best things about your team?
The respect we all show to each other. We come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experience and we all recognize that and quickly build on that as new members come onboard.
