When I joined IBM through an acquisition I thought I'd be around for maybe a year. It's been almost 20 years now and I stayed because I was always finding challenging things to work on. I advanced by doing a great job until the top of the non exec bands then it becomes who you know vs. your skill.

IBMers are smart and hard working. They are collaborative and have a natural curiosity and love to solve problems. This environment is continually inspiring.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people are generally as smart and driven as I am. For the most part, bad behavior is not tolerated and that is supported by management/leadership. Diversity and bringing your whole self to work is celebrated and embraced.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are amazing at their jobs. They are authentic and are very hands on and willing to help when you need it. They are very accessible and don't hide from tough issues and problems, they help you face them head on and partner with you to resolve.
