I think IBM has a great group of people who are truly client and community focused. We have an amazing aggregation of diverse minds that can solve complex solutions. I think we can really grow into areas where other companies won't.
What makes you most happy at work?
I think the ability to work in technology and work on innovative solutions.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Total compensation is lower than a lot of other companies. In addition, there are limited bonus opportunities for employee's to attain more income based on their performance.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are accountable and actionable to their goals. They truly understand the weight of their promises and attempt, in good faith, to execute upon them for the betterment of the firm, their employees, our clients, and the community.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I think the culture at IBM is that we are all talented people who can work on our own time. Managers trust their employees to complete quality deliverables on time and don't focus on the day-to-day workload of employees. Huge on flexibility!
What are some of the best things about your team?
I really like the mix of talent on my team. There are people who have been at IBM for 20 plus years and then there are new hire grads. This gives varying perspectives that I think yield a better and more collaborative work environment.
