What is the best part about your compensation package?

The 401(k) match! IBM is continuing to match even through the unprecedented times of the pandemic.

What do you like best about the leadership team?

Their trust in our capabilities to allow us to do our jobs without micromanagement. In this day of working from home, it's not easy for managers, but our teams are doing wonderfully about encouraging autonomy, balance, and safety.

What makes you most happy at work?

Learning something new every day. I am blessed to be in a job where my mind never goes stagnant, I am constantly learning about something new or a better way to engage or a faster way to move forward.

What are some of the best things about your team?

We respect what each of us brings to the table. We all have strengths and it's easy to find someone who has a tool you may not have in your tool box, and either learn from them or engage with them side by side.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The idea of innovation and celebrating the 'fail fast' mentality. A manager once told me, "if you're not failing, you're not trying hard enough to get out of the box." IBM embodies that theory. Push boundaries. See how far you can go. And if you fail, and you will, learn from it, grow, and push on.
