The brand value is good. However, the bosses at the top in Korea seem very passive. The work and life balance as a consultant at GBS is the worst. We always work over night, but can't even claim for our time because our bosses want to create more revenue a the end of the year. Salary is very low.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being acknowledged by my client. Getting raise. Going home early. (not working overtime)
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They don't care much about what happens within a ongoing project. Therefore, I have some autonomy.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
We are not compensated with how much over time work we do. In Korea, we have a system where we are prepaid with the assumed overtime employees will do in a month (52hours a week). However, this is ridiculous since we work at least 80hours a week and can't even claim time for that.
