Having recently returned to IBM after working at two other companies in the area for the last several years, it is refreshing to be back at a company that has a high performing people first culture. Many companies talk about high performing cultures and caring about employees but, few do it well.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The culture is hard working but respectful of work life balance.
What are some of the best things about your team?
High level of collaboration. Everyone pulling together in the same direction for a common goal. We also have some fun in work related events such as the Supply Assurance Olympics.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
My manager is very supportive and easy to collaborate with on ideas to close out on issues. The executive team is focused on the right areas to help close out on revenue.
What makes you most happy at work?
Working to close on day to day issues with a long term goal for successful product launches and support. The work has short and long term goals, which help to keep the work interesting and fresh.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
The bonus is the only downside in comparison to other companies in the area. Work from home is a big help for work-life balance and safety with recent COVID concerns. The overall compensation package is competitive in the marketplace.
