What do you like best about the leadership team?

The leaders at the Halifax CIC (especially those who orchestrate onboarding) are easy to approach with problems and are solutions-oriented.

What makes you most happy at work?

I love that I get to learn something new literally every day that I go to work. Thinking about the endless possibilities for learning new things at IBM make me incredibly happy.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?

The folks at my location are always willing to listen when I bring up concerns related to neurodiversity. They have been very supportive. Dalia El-Dib and JoAnne Noel have been especially great. I wish I could report them to HR for being amazing at their jobs!

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?

I feel undervalued because I know that IBM's base rate of pay at my location has not increased with the cost of living in the last few years. I make an internship wage. I hate the idea of leaving, but IBM offers some of the least competitive compensation in my area.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?

As someone who is not neurotypical, I have found some interactions difficult. I learned the hard way that when someone reaches out for a "chat" that could mean interview. I missed an opportunity to be on a project because I went to an interview without knowing what it really was and was not prepared
