I'm always surprised by how much support my manager gives both outside and inside of work. Having a newborn my work life balance is a little too skewed towards life, but I've still received great opportunities. I feel supported.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are available accessible and relatively transparent about most decisions.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
It includes extra paternity leave and medical benefits all begin on day one.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They are supportive, and will work with me directly during the pandemic with screen share when I'm blocked. As a relatively new hire it feels like they value me and my development time.
What makes you most happy at work?
Right now I'm working on something I alway wanted to. Almost unsupervised and with the freedom to spend as much time learning as doing. I signed up for it indirectly by showing interest. It's awesome.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Everyone is an accessible peer and you have so many avenues to learn from people higher up the ladder. There is also a lot of freedom to learn and take charge of your own work direction.
