
Be more connected with the real world and their employees. Step out of the Target corporate box they still into your head, and remember employees are just as human as customers. Empathy is needed. Better communication between team members on a private level, rather than on the floor reprimanding.
My personal team/store is amazing. Everyone is nice and is very understanding and helpful. Not one single bad experience with a co-worker. They always help when asked, and even when not asked and they just see a coworker struggling. Everyone at my location is friendly, helpful, and good at their job
The culture of Target is actually very connected to the real world. My personal store utilizes all the good aspects of the environment corporate tries to have all stores achieve. The problem is that it is the same no matter where the store is located, they need to notice local culture.
More frequent and larger pay increases. Better scheduling. Less ridicule for using sick or vacation time. Actually going on breaks and not just lying and saying you went on said break. Treat us employees with a small amount of the respect we are expected to give even the worst customers.
