What are some of the best things about your team?
The people on my team are personable and friendly. If the people who worked on the ground were given actual power and responsibility, you could probably save a lot of money just by firing management.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
I have had almost no communication with my leadership since I started. I haven't had any communication about my performance, I actually wasn't even told directly that I would not be continuing after the season ended. I had to find out via an application through my schedule.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
The average price of a studio apartment where I live is $1,000 a month. Target pays $12.50 an hour and won't give you more than 25 hours a week. There's no way that could possibly compete with the cost of living. I would feel better if they paid us enough to realistically live.
