Overall, the work environment is nice, but some of the changes seem like they were created by people who have never had to work in these positions before. Many of my coworkers are very frustrated at times.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
I am a college student, so that's a bit irrelevant to me.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I knew as soon as I finished the interview that I was hired. Takes a lot of the worry out of things.
What makes you most happy at work?
Being able to help people find an item they were looking for but could not locate, doing anything involving the photo department, and zoning the dollar spot.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I feel like they really take care of us, at least better at my store compared to the one my brother worked at. We're a team, and it actually feels like we're working together.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
I really enjoy the team environment. I was in marching band in high school, and I really missed the inclusiveness of that. I feel that at my store, we work hard to make everyone feel welcome.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We get along well with each other and help each other out. I have yet to experience the drama that plagues some teams in a similar work environment. My managers know and utilize my strong points when they are able to spare me for the task.
