I like my team, and what I do.I even like most of the managers with a few exceptions.When we are given enough hours, and appreciated.Lately that is no longer the case.We have been getting worse and worse treatment.It is not fair to get blamed for other teams mistakes or Unfair work load expectations
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The best thing is my team.I love my girls , and we work super well together.I also love the Human Resources team.They are so nice, and go above and beyond to help me.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
The management needs to communicate better.It is really bad right now when everyone is on different pages..They need to appreciate the permanent employees and give fair treatment to all..Including giving hours.They need to listen to ideas we have to help make the workload run smoother.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Compensation is okay but we get no recognition and we all work very hard.We get blamed for things that aren't our fault constantly while the employees actually at fault are not held accountable for their mistakes and blatant laziness. They should hold every employee to the same standards.
What are some of the best things about your team?
I love my coworkers.We work very well together.My only problem at the moment is with management showing blatant favoritism to one of my team, and giving the rest of us no hours at all.We have a huge workload , and are super backed up because of this one woman show mentality.We need to work together.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I really liked my boss.He was very passionate about the company, and it showed.He asked me alot about my previous work experience in retail so that he could figure out if I would be a proper fit.I liked how he placed me based on my strengths and experience to better serve the store as a whole.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
We have a major issue with trying to run our store more effectively but with every manager having a different plan of how we are supposed to do our tasks.I see alot of communication breakdown all the time.We get no hours most of the time but have way to high of expectations from management.It is bad
