There has been some minor communication errors. Mostly, it has been a great way for me to gain new experience/skills in an area/field of career that I've been involved with for almost 10 years.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
The inclusive culture, and how most everyone is treated with mutual respect.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
They try to be inclusive by listening to employee suggestions on making workflow more efficient with different approaches to methodology.
What are some of the best things about your team?
We all focus on getting our plans executed efficiently as possible. We rely on each other to produce well and above.
What makes you most happy at work?
The environment, and different challenges that the freight can present. Learning new tips depending on whom you're working with (iron sharpening iron) to excel and be the best DC
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
There is a lot of stress put on our department as far as meeting store demands. Productivity is always stressed, and some times when that is on paper in numerical form, it can be a drag. Especially if your giving your all to get freight out quickly, only to see lackluster productivity rates.
What did you like most about the interview process?
I was very familiar with most of the staff/HR. Started out as a temporary worker, and got offered a contingency for all of the hard work and effort put forth during 2018 peak. The leaders recognized my potential, and we're really excited to get me hired in. I'm very grateful for the opportunity.
