The lack of communication, micro managing leaders and the contradictions in tasks.
What would you improve about your company's interview process?
Give them more time to vet the applicants. They seemed rushed to just get bodies. Not the best person for the job.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Let people do there assigned jobs. Stop micro managing team members. We are all adults and know our jobs. Also the leadership need better communication. I have leaders to will say do one task; then another will say to do a different one. Some times they contradict each other.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Target may be raising their minimum wage to $15 an hour but they cut hours to less then 20 per week. I dont know a single adult who can live on 300 dollars a week. Also I've worked for target for 10 years yet I make only $12.50 an hour.
