The leadership team should pay more attention to and focus more on nurturing their team members to make them better. We need better staffing and more effective leadership and more of them. More than everything the lower leadership needs to be treated better and with more respect.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'm paid the same as people that I'm training. I'm one of the best workers in the back but I am paid starting wage. Won't get promoted to trainer or coach because I don't show enough leadership, but if I show leadership I can be written up for overstepping. Our GM doesn't spend enough time with us

I feel undervalued because I work really hard but get paid $8.50 for it. Also the managers don't seem to care about us as long as we are working, I've known multiple people who have gotten sick/passed out/gotten heat stroke from standing outside in 90 degrees for five hours at a time, with no shade.

At my chick-fil-a we are not offered any benefits beside healthcare. We are rewarded with discounts based on our performance, which is decided by the guest. Other than that, we do not have any benefits as employees or managers.

I don't mind my coworkers. I'm not friends with anyone, mainly because we get yelled at for socializing on the job, but they're cool and there hasn't been any drama or anything, and almost everyone does their job well.

My managers and coworkers are friends so when there is conflict between two team members my managers favor their friends over other coworkers even when the situation is extremely serious and our management does not protect us workers.

It all goes back to leadership. Their leadership meetings were never on topic and never had value to the meetings. Those who made mistakes never took responsibility and held team members to a higher expectation then shift supervisors.

When I was interviewed, there was a two step interview process that made sure our workers would be good. Now, our new hiring manager hires people through conversation and gives us people that do not show CFA qualities
