What does the leadership team need to get better at?
The upper management of Toys R Us is the WORST! They are the reason Toys R Us is closing. The leadership needs to focus on things that matter instead of trying to compare us to Target and Walmart and Amazon. They are not the competition. Store leadership on the other hand is the best you can find

Well, it's too late now, but they needed to get better at adapting to the times while facing off against Amazon. They also needed to offer competitive pricing.

Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
If we were given our severance that we deserve since David Brandon and his GOONS got their "BONUSES"

I would feel better compensated for the YEARS and YEARS I have worked there if they paid our SEVERANCE that is DUE TO US.

I feel undervalued because I'm losing my job, while Dave Brandon oversaw the company's closing and will receive millions on his way out the door. I've worked longer and done more for Toys R Us and in a few months I'll be unemployed.

I feel like I do more work than my position requires but do not get paid accordingly. I also got a very small raise during my last evaluation and feel like it was unfair

My team actually works as a team. Everyone helps each other, there is no one person carrying the weight of the others.

At store level we are more than just a team. We are a family. We help each other, and depend on one another.

What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
Apathy really killed the mood at my store. We all knew the company was in trouble and that nothing was going to save it. It made/makes going to work a chore.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Despite the fact that we are closing our team is still working at the fast pace that we normally do. We take pride in our products and how we carry ourselves within the store. We will not let this keep us down

Its a selling culture. The business is built around helping the customers not just ignoring them like other big box retailers. That's what made Toys R Us so special.

The only way things would get better would be if some miracle happened and the company was saved.

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
David Brandon and his goons. If they had not been here Toys R Us would still be a good company and would still be profitable
