The fellow coworkers but team managers aside from one are extremely abrasive.

Not given positivity for good ethic. The TM only gives negative feedback and threats.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Understanding, remembering when they started out, being realistic, motivating employees by not just negatives. Constructive criticism, not threats.
